About the event
This workshop will teach you the basics of Sashiko mending and simple embroidery stitches. Students can bring their own items from their closets to fix during the class and the instructor will help to provide tailored repair solutions while also giving specific demonstrations to the entire group. Students will have all the materials they need to get started and will be provided with mini tote bags/scrap fabric to practice their skills on.
